Westward: Returning to the Heart of God

All through Scripture, “East” marked exile—humanity moving away from God’s presence; but every step westward was a return.

When the priests entered the Tabernacle, they walked westward, back toward the Holy of Holies, back toward mercy. It was a journey of restoration—a return to what was lost.

At Project Nehemiah, we believe in that same renewal call: rebuilding what’s been broken, restoring sacred places, and returning hearts to the presence of God.

Each prayer, each act of service, each stone laid in faith is a step westward—back to the heart of God.
